可怕的事情发生在美国。

这个星期全世界， 很多人生气得看着电视，在美国的可怕的事情。一个警察又把一个黑人男人杀害。也因为总统有很弱的回应， 很多人出去抗议。人民有生气。他们生气因为这个事情以前发生过很多次。他们要这个解决/结束这个问题。

 

美国， 和别的国家一样， 有种族主义的问题， 和黑人忍受其害。一些警察也有种族主义和黑人比白人更容易会被拦住，逮捕， 坐牢。 这些事在很多国家和英国发生 ， 但是我觉得美国有两个其他问题。第一个是枪。警察带枪的时候， 暴力可很快提升。

 

第两个是美国的政府不帮助黑人。太多年政府什么都不做去解决问题。政府， 警察， 部队， 学校， 大学， 公司需要停止歧视。更多！这些地方需要帮助黑人提高水平。

 

现在的总统说可怕的话了。 他的话造成暴力和生气。但是我们需要记得川普（当总统）以前，这问题已经开始。 直到事情提升，这些可怕事情会继续。

This week, across the world, many people have been watching tv in horror at the terrible things that have been happening in America.  Another black man has been killed by a policeman. And, because of the president’s weak response, many people have gone out onto the street to protest. People are angry. They are angry because this has happened many times before. They want this problem to end.

America, like other countries,  has a problem with racism, and black people are treated unfairly. Policemen too, can be racist, and black people compared with white people are more likely to be stopped, arrested and go to jail. This happens in many countries, including the UK, but, I think America has two additional problems. 

The first problem is guns. When the police carry guns, the level of violence can escalate quickly. 

The second problem, is that America has a government that does not help black people.  For too many years the government has not done something to stop this. Government, police, military, schools, universities, workplaces must not be allowed to be racist. And more! These places must actively help black communities to rise up a level. 

The current President has said some terrible things, and his words have caused violence and anger. But we must remember that these problems started before Trump and will continue after him unless things change.
