参观动物园

天气非常热和晴朗。 今天有三十度， 所以在家里面工作不舒服。我爱热天气但是就是去沙滩还是去游泳的时候。但是，现在去沙滩不好的时候。沙滩太多人了。

 

但是我们看电视里听说动物园又开门， 我们觉得是很好的事情。 总经理说动物园开门但是就让二千人买票。觉得很理想！动物园正常每天有七千张票， 所以这是好机会去动物园人不多的时候。我们马上买票了。

 

所以， 上个星期我们去了动物园。很好了！我们没有看见一些动物因为不让我们进里面， 但是我们有很多时间很轻松， 走和看看了。因为人很少，所以不用等买吃东西还有就是用卫生间了。凯文不喜欢忙的地方所以他很高兴了.

 

我们看见狮子和就能听雄的狮子吼了。 我们也能看见企鹅游泳。别的最好的是大猩猩， 斑马， 长颈鹿和猴子。 

 

回到家了的时候我们吃鱼排和跟邻居喝啤酒。 还有一个邻居就有一个新小狗， 所以我们看见更多动物。很棒的一天。 

The weather is extremely hot and sunny. Today it is 30 degrees, so working inside is uncomfortable. 

I love hot weather but only when I can go to the beach or go swimming. But now isn’t a good time to go to the beach. The beaches are too busy.

But, when we heard on the t.v. that the zoo was open again, we thought that was a great idea. The owner said that they would open but only allow 2000 people to buy tickets. This sounded perfect! The zoo normally has around 7000 tickets every day, so this was an opportunity to go when it was quiet. We booked immediately!

So, last week we went to the zoo. It was great. We didn’t see every animal, because we weren’t allowed to go inside, but we had lots of time to relax and walk and look. And because there were less people, there were no queues for restaurants or toilets.  Kevin doesn’t like busy places so he was very happy.

We saw lions, and got to hear the male lion roaring.  We also got to see the penguins swimming. Other favourites were gorillas, zebra, giraffe and monkeys. 

When we came home, we ate fish and chips and drank beer with neighbours. Also, one of our neighnbours has just got a little puppy, so we saw even more animals! It was a lovely day.
