感激邻居

去年夏天我搬家了。在很多年租房子以后， 我们最终买了一个房子。现在因为病毒和不能工作， 我很感激我们买了我们的家。这个房子比旧房子便宜更大一些。现在我们有很多地方，能在家工作所以我们能离开我们很贵的画室。我们也有一个阳台和私人花园。

我很感激因为如果去年病毒来了我们不能交付租金。别的事情我也很感激的是我的很棒的邻居。搬到这里我们有很多新的朋友。在阳台我们一起聊天。有的时候我们在私人花园聊天； 通常跟那些有狗有孩子的人聊天。就很快说声你好也让环境更好。一个邻居， 叫Sarah， 她的老公是中国人。他们的儿子， Dylan， 四岁。 他很漂亮，金发有中国的眼睛。日前她送给我礼物给Willa宝宝的中文书。 一些书有英文和汉字， 但是一些就只有汉字。我需要学习所以我可以读那些本书给Willa宝宝。

I moved house last summer. After many years of renting, we finally bought a home. And now, with the virus and not being able to work, I am so thankful that we bought our home. Compared with our old home, this home is cheaper and bigger. We now have much more space to be able work from home, so we were able to quit our expensive art studios. And we have a balcony and a shared garden. 

I am so thankful because If the virus have arrived last year, we would not have been able to pay rent. 

Another thing, I am very thankful for, is my wonderful neighbours. We have made many friends since living here. We chat to each other from our balconies. We sometimes chat in the shared garden; especially to those with dogs and children. Even saying a quick hello makes the environment nicer.  

One of my neighbours, Sarah, is married to a Chinese guy. Their son, Dylan is 4 years old. He’s beautiful, with blonde hair and hooded eyes. The other day, She gave me a gift of Chinese books for Willa. Some of the books have pinyin and Chinese, but some only have Chinese writing. I will need to study them so I can read them to Willa.
